The journal strictly adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics.

  • properly and accurately cite all sources;
  • include only individuals who made a scientific contribution as authors;
  • provide transparent disclosure of the use of artificial intelligence tools (if applied).

2. Environmental Responsibility

Research in irrigation and melioration must:

  • ensure rational and sustainable use of water, soil, and other natural resources;
  • minimize negative environmental impact;
  • maintain ecosystem stability;
  • comply with environmental requirements and national standards;
  • consider long-term environmental consequences of melioration activities.

3. Field Research and Permissions

If the research was conducted under field conditions:

  • appropriate permissions from relevant governmental, local, or institutional bodies must be obtained;
  • research areas and objects must be used on a legal basis;
  • compliance with legislation must be ensured when using geodetic, GIS, remote sensing, and monitoring data;
  • no damage must be caused to land, water, or infrastructure.

4. Research Involving Human Participants

If farmers, specialists, or local communities were involved in the research:

  • prior written informed consent must be obtained;
  • confidentiality of personal data must be ensured;
  • any form of pressure or coercion is strictly prohibited.

5. Data Transparency and Reproducibility

Authors must:

  • retain research data and provide it when necessary;
  • ensure the possibility of independent verification of results;
  • describe methods and technologies in detail;
  • disclose conflicts of interest.

6. Identification of Research Resources

To ensure transparency and reproducibility, authors are recommended to:

  • clearly indicate software, models, and technical tools used;
  • use Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) where applicable.

7. Reporting Standards

Authors must follow international reporting standards according to the type of research:

  • STROBE — for observational studies;
  • CONSORT — for experimental studies;
  • PRISMA — for systematic reviews.

Authors are encouraged to follow EQUATOR Network recommendations.


8. Declarations

Each manuscript must include:

  • ethics approval (if required);
  • funding sources;
  • conflict of interest;
  • author contributions;
  • data availability.

9. Non-compliance with Ethical Requirements

Manuscripts that do not meet these ethical requirements:

  • may be rejected without review;
  • may be retracted after publication if violations are identified.

The journal acts in accordance with COPE recommendations.


10. Author Responsibility

Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the presented data.
The Editor-in-Chief has the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet established ethical requirements.
